Instruction by Karen Kawahara: One of the most sought after makeup artists in the country. Her talents have enhanced the glamour of today's most recognizable celebrities such as Meg Ryan, Cindy Crawford, Salma Hayek, Shannon Elizabeth, Holly Hunter and Julia Louis Dreyfus. Her work on celebrities and super models frequently appears in Vanity Fair, Elle, and Vogue, as well as other magazines around the world. She has also worked extensively in print advertising, television commercials, award shows, and on motion pictures. "Kate & Leopold" was her last feature on which she worked with Meg Ryan. For the last four seasons Karen has been Debra Messing's Make up Artist on "Will & Grace".
Instruction by Joanna Schlip: Joanna has worked with some of the world's most celebrated people in the entertainment industry. Her work has appeared in the most prestigious magazines and on runways world wide. Her clients include: Vanity Fair, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire, and Vogue. She has also prepared countless celebrities for photo shoots, Red Carpet and other public events. Some of her clients include: Lucy Liu, Tyra Banks, Alicia Silverstone, Mandy Moore, Naomi Watts, Scarlett Johansson, Lara Flynn Boyle, Kate Beckensale, Daryl Hannah, Sheryl Crow, and Eva Longoria. After spending fifteen years working in Europe, Joanna currently divides her time between Los Angeles and New York. She has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show and continues to be featured as a Make Up Artist on other television make-over shows.
Instruction by Lutz Wesemann: German-born makeup artist Luz Wesemann has worked with many of the great photographers of our time, including David Bailey, Patrick Demarchelier, Arthur Elgort, Annie Leibovitz, Helmut Newton, Herb Ritts, Matthew Rolston, Ellen Von Unwerth and Albert Watson. Working for such diverse magazines as Allure, Elle, Esquire, In Style, Harper's Bazaar, Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, and Vogue, LUTZ has also collaborated with many contemporary photographers including Mark Seliger, Dewey Nicks, Andrew McPherson, Anthony Mandler, Mark Liddell, Peggy Sirota, and Sante d'Orazio. His celebrity clientele ranges from Oscar-winner Susan Sarandon to Oscar-winner Renee Zellweger, and includes Cameron Diaz, Claire Danes, Kirsten Dunst, Salma Hayek, Gwenyth Paltrow, Julianne Moore, and Jada Pinkett-Smith. LUTZ was principal makeup artist for actress Meg Ryan on six of her films, including 1998's You've Got Mail.
