Frank Solich has been associated with Nebraska football for 20 years and has played an important role in Nebraska's tremendous success. He was named head coach of Nebraska in 1998 and has helped develop numerous All-Americans and All-Conference running backs. 14 of his running backs have gone on to play pro football, and 18 running backs have gained 1,000 yards or more during a season. Currently Frank Solich continues his success as the Head Coach of the Ohio Bobcats. He was named the 2006 Mid-American Conference Coach of the Year by the MAC News Media Association.
